LONGING FOR A CLEARER, MORE BEAUTIFUL SKIN WITHOUT PAIN?
WHAT IS HYDRAFACIAL?
Everyone wants a clearer, more beautiful skin that looks as smooth and unlined as a baby’s face without going through the pain and downtime associated with deep skin treatments. That’s why HydraFacial is the skin treatment of the perfect match here. A HydraFacial is a treatment that uses patented technology to purify, extract, and hydrate skin. Being a totally customizable treatment thanks to the specific formulation of the ingredients in its serum it appeals to nearly all ages, complexions, and concerns which means it is nice for teenagers with acne; adults with pimples, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation; and for older patients with sun damage and even flaky pre-cancerous spots (as part of more serious treatments). HydraFacial is well known to produce consistent results that patients can count on time and time again providing an infusion of essential vitamins, moisture, and antioxidants to your skin that help fight the early signs of aging and protects from environmental pollution. Worth mentioning also that HydraFacial plays nicely with other skin rejuvenation procedures
What to expect during the treatment?
The HydraFacial treatment starts with cleaning the skin by removing the dead skin cells, excess sebum and loosens pores from it. Next, a mix of salicylic and glycolic acids are applied to the skin to break up any dirt and oil that’s clogging pores. Afterwards, using a unique vacuum-powered extraction method “HydraPeel Tip” blackheads, dirt, oil, and impurities are essentially vacuumed out in a virtually painless procedure while hydrating, plumping, and nourishing serums are simultaneously applied to the skin.
How do you prepare?
Before undertaking a Hydrafacial treatment you are advised to follow the following tips: Stop having any deep chemical peels, laser or Botox treatments for at least two weeks before the treatment (You can have Botox done on the same day as your facial, but it must happen after the facial). Avoid any excessive sun exposure for at least 72 hours before treatment. Do not shave or wax on the same day of treatment. Stop using any over-the-counter acne medications, like benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid for at least 48 hours before you have your facial. Please come to the office without make-up, creams, gels, or lotions on treatment areas.
How long does a Hydrafacial treatment take?
The procedure can be completed in 30 minutes with no downtime.
Post treatment instructions:
The morning after the treatment, only wash your face with PCA Facial Wash or Hydropeptide Exfoliating Cleanser this is because some over-the-counter facial washes can damage your skin after this treatment. After the Hydrafacial treatment please avoid intense heat for at least 24 hours and extra sun exposure for at least 72 hours and make sure to apply the Hydropeptide SPF 30 sunscreen. Do not wax or use depilatories for at least 48 hours after the treatment. For thirty days after your treatment, apply PCA Hylauronic Boosting Serum every day in the morning and at night.
How many treatments are required?
It is normally advisable to have one treatment of HydraFacial per month in order to achieve deeper and more sustainable outcomes in terms of reduction of wrinkles and fine lines, and improvement of oily skin, clogged pores and brown spots. HydraFacial MD manufacturer recommends continued treatments to maintain skin health results.
